About Me

Hello!   Welcome to Kid’s, Critter’s, Crohn’s Oh My!  My name is Zona Stueben the creator behind this lifestyle and travel blog.  I’m a wife to a wonderful man, a mother to three adult daughters and two fur babies one cat and one dog and a grandma too two grandsons.  By day I am a full-time bookkeeper and by night a blogger.

Things I love

I am an avid animal lover and I love spending time with my animals.  I love reading and collecting books especially cookbooks. My camera is never far from my side snapping pictures to fill my  scrapbook all of our memories. I’d much rather relaxing in my slippers while eating Reese’s peanut butter cups and watching a good movie such as “Gone in 60 Seconds” , “Armageddon” , or any Disney movie.

Things I enjoy

I enjoy entertaining my family and friends with barbecues as well picnics in the park.   I also love crocheting gifts for my family while watching TV. I can’t pass up sitting around a campfire and eating S’mores and telling stories with my family and friends.

Things I’m passionate About

I have a passion for saving my family money on the things we buy everyday from food, clothing, books and eating out, which I have to thank my mom for.  I continue to research more on my Family history.

A little background about me

I was born and raised in southern California.  One of my favorite things growing up in California is the vacations we would take in my parents camper and trailer spending time together doing and seeing some amazing placing in the United States and our last stop was always my grandparents house in Utah.  Thanks dad for all the memories I owe my love for traveling to you.

I met my husband Ray in early 1991, we started our family in 1992 and were married in 1993.  We currently live in Salt Lake Utah. In July 2005 I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, You can read more about it here.

In February 2018 we made the decision to move into our 30 ft bumper pull trailer.  I live with my husband Ray along with our youngest daughter Samantha and her two rabbits Zaylee(rest in peace) and Ashton, our cat Hubble (my baby) and Daisy our Dachshund.  We are currently stationery in a campground in Utah.

Grab yourself a cup of hot chocolate and enjoy reading about our adventures and ways we save money and my many craft projects I am working on from crocheting to scrapbooking.
